Sep 29, 2022
On September 21, the all-new Mitsubishi ASX made its debut in Europe. The new car will be built on the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance CMF-B platform, with a new exterior design and five powertrain options. In addition, the new car is expected to officially enter the European market in March 2023.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a smaller triangular air intake grille, and at the same time uses arrow-like chrome decoration on both sides, combined with the irregular light groups on both sides, it has a very high degree of recognition. The shape of the side of the body is relatively compact, and at the same time, the rearview mirror shell, column and roof are blackened to create a suspended visual effect. The rear part of the car also borrows the design of the Renault Cabin, while adding the "MITSUBISHI" model logo.
In terms of assisted driving, the new car will come standard with emergency braking assistance, lane departure warning and automatic parking functions, while adaptive cruise and lane keeping functions are provided on the top model.
For the power part, the new car will provide 5 kinds of powertrains to choose from. Among them, the 1.0T three-cylinder engine has a maximum power of 67kW and is matched with a 6-speed manual transmission; the 1.3T four-cylinder engine has a maximum power of 103kW and 116kW. It is matched with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission respectively; the maximum power of the 1.6L HEV version is 105kW, and the maximum power of the 1.6L PHEV version is 117kW. It is equipped with a 10.5kWh battery pack and has a pure electric cruising range of 47-49km.
